How to post your WKO+ file here?

Tried copy/paste and upload file, neither seem to work for me.

Any suggestions?

    Steve- Above is my test.

I had saved the test (1 minute extra long, I know, it was on purpose) in WKO+ On the graph page

Then I went to the Journal page for that workout.

    Bottom right is "Summary"

Scroll down through it looking for the saved test. Mine was right after the warm up and was not obvious, I just went slow.

    Highlight the test data.

Right click on highlighted area and select "copy"

Come over to forum and right click in the blank reply box.

    Select "Paste"

That's how I got my data in.

Let me know if you have problems. I have been very busy at work and not onthe forum. Spending hours this AM to catch up.

    Michele

  • Sorry - I meant the graph, not the high level data.  I was thinking if I could share the chart(s) that it would give some insight into 'how' I rode.

Sorry for the confusion.  If this can be done I would be interested in the feedback.

    Steve

  • A screenshot then.

Are you on a PC or a Mac running Parallels or VMware Fusion?
  • PC - but can't seem to paste the screen shot into this text box  Ctrl-V, nor Edit/Paste seems to paste into this text box.  Tried to upload as an attachment as well, didn't work.

    End user error?  image

  •  Steve - i'm a Mac guy, but I can give you vague instructions. You want to use "Print Screen" i think there's a key on the PC keyboard for that. Then paste the "printed screen" from your clipboard in to an image editing app like Paint. You'll then want to crop it to show just the part you want to share. Then save the cropped file as a JPEG or PNG. Once you have that file you may upload it to a photo sharing site such as flickr photobucket and then embed the image in a post or share the image link with the forum. I'm not sure if the upload attachment to a post is working 100% yet. I'll check as I post this reply.

  • Here's my attempt to link to the WKO+ data file...

    Back to the original intent!

Am looking for any constructive criticism/feedback on my ride as I learn to ride with power.

    Appreciate any feedback

    Steve

  • Steve- that didn't quit work. You should be able to do a screen print of the graph. Then open something like Paint and paste the screen print into that file (even PPT will work if you don't have paint). Crop up the pic the way you want it and then save the file as a .jpg file. From there you insert the pic into the post like any other picture you'd put into a thread.

As for help/feedback on the ride itself. Just looking at a file without knowing what the goal of that workout was or what you were trying to accomplish with your power zones within the workout is gonna be a little challenging. Kinda like- uhu- it's a power file, very pretty, but what did you want to know?

on the same topic how do you insert a picture?

Jeff: Alternative method if you don't want to/can't upload your pics to an online service like flickr:

    1. Down below the reply box (not the Quick Reply one), there are two pop down boxes: Attachments and Topic Review.

    2. Select "Attachments"

    3. Click on "Browse..." button.

    4. Select a picture from your hard drive or other source connected to your computer.

    5. Select "Upload" (to the right ot Browse button)

    6. More choices appear; select "Insert".

Advantage: these are stored on same server as this forum, and you can then select "My Files" to add the same pic to another post.
