  • David, I like how you put that. I struggle to call myself vegan because it conjures up visions of Peta and red paint being thrown on fur coats.
  • I am Plant Strong with no regrets. I take a sublingual B12 just in case, but have had no issues. I did 2 half IM's last year and plan on doing my first full IM this year. I have multiple cookbooks, but would love some additional recipes. I use the forks over knives cookbook quite a bit, has many excellent and easy to make recipes.
  • Hi, so happy to come across your discussion. I try to eat plant based and this season will be the first time where I have eliminated dairy and meat from my diet. Any recipes, tips, etc. are much appreciated and if I come across any, I'll be sure to share. Thanks!
  • I have found that I am loving the Happy Herbivore cookbooks. Easy easy easy recipes. Check out theppk.com and happyherbivore.com for some great ideas.
  • I'm 50% vegan/50% vegetarian (yes, I know that doesn't 'count!') image so I'd love any recipes you have. This is my year of nutrition, particularly during endurance events, which in the past was usually sugar/gel/blocks based.
  • There are sooo many good sources online and many cookbooks, it makes it easy to be vegan, healthy, happy and feeling great. I like the Forks over Knives cookbook, Engine 2 Diet website and cookbook is good to transition as well. Costco has tons of fresh and frozen organic produce and they carry green machine juice that is very good if you don't have time to make it yourself. Look in the refrigerated section.
