The 2011-2012 USA vs The Rest of the World OS FTP Challenge

Here's the challenge:

Team USA outnumbers the rest of the world here in EN - no question.  But I've long suspected that what we non-'mericans lack in numbers, we make up for in crankarm-bending, powertap-melting, chain-snapping FTP improvement in the OS.

And here's the chance to once again settle the question - The 2011-2012 EN USA vs The Rest of the World OS FTP Challenge.

Here's how it works:

1. Be a member of EN.

2. Visit the Spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?authkey=COiTpPED&key=0AqMaqMVrQF3qdEVPS0NWeW9ZR2E2Vm9BUXR1UXpzTVE&authkey=COiTpPED#gid=1.    Or Click Here.

If you live in the US of  A, you're in the red section.

If you live anywhere else in the world, you're in the blue section.

Confused?  Ask yourself this question: "Has my country adopted the metric system?"   Yes: Blue;  No: Red.

2. Post your name and the results of your initial OS FTP test result.

3. Then post any subsequent tests.

4. Keep updating as your watts climb.

The score is measured by the percentage change in watts per team member - it's all about value-added.   So, if I start the OS at 100 watts, and test again at 115, I contribute a 15% increase to my team (the cal-cu-mo-later on Excel will do the hard math).  Team score is calculated as the average of  all members' percentage increases.   Make sense?

Other rules to be made up as we go along.  Side bets welcomed, trash talk encouraged.

Any takers?
