Powdered Peanut Butter

Ya, you read that right. Has anyone ever seen this or tried it?

  • I have tried it a while back. I didn't like it reconstituted alone or in a PBJ but liked it in smoothies. It has a lot less fat than regular PB.
  • My wife loves it and won't eat anything but that for peanut butter.
  • I eat it just about every day. Mix it with water to about PB consistency, then mix it 50/50 with all natural PB (straight from the peanut machine at my local co-op). Spread it on a toasted mini bagel. It's my afternoon snack to get me through my late afternoon workout. We eat dinner pretty late...8pm, so need something that will last. Usually have a pear with it.

    It is a somewhat acquired taste, but mixing it helps.

  • I have a few...regular and chocolate. Apparently I am the only one in my house who thinks it is ok. I don't love it, but it is not bad. Great in smoothies. You can order a few small sample packs to try out the flavors before you commit to the big jars.
