Life of a Pro
I have the bad habit of overbooking even my time off with activities. Every time I get some time off for vacation the fam and I are running wild. Driving to see family, going on our own vacations, even took a week hike on John Muir trail in Yosemite. It's a blessing to get to do those things, but often feel more run down when I get back.
Wife talked me into taking week off and just hangin at the house. Took kids to school, did a little reading, and obviously had an awesome week getting in some training. Feel like a pro with nothing else to do except work my day around my workouts and recovering.
@Carl - Once your race is over (or maybe before, I don't know where it falls in your vacation) you are going to feel great just chilling on the beach.
@Mark - This was first time since PP started where I just took a week off to do nothing, and it might be my favorite vacation so far.
Conclusion - Too bad I suck at all three sports or this "pro style all I do is train" thing may be for me
