Not getting notified of PMs via email

I'm pretty sure i've got my settings correct, but I'm not getting notified of PMs via email. Is there something I need to do special for this to happen.

FWIW - I did get Patrick's announcements to the Holliday run challenge via email.

    Any movement on this? Right now I need to remember to check for personal messages rather than being notified. Kinda like continually going to the front door to see if anyone's there rather than having a doorbell.

    The new Welcome widget on the dashboard with Inbox and Alerts is helpful.
