HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY NEW CYCLEOPS POWERTAP/JOULE 2.0. HELP!!!

 Maybe I'm doing something wrong, maybe a malfunction. In any event, has anybody had a similar problem and has any recommendation? I've tried everything (reset, pair again, stop adn delete, on-off) and the problem persisits.

    Juan, could you describe the problem you're having? Does the unit not turn on? Is it turning on, but not pairing with the Joule? Is it showing odd/impossible numbers? That sort of thing.

    Tks for your reply.
    The problem (last 3 rides):
    Day 1: after I reset to zero all, it just did not read anything (but BPM). Tried pairing, find sensor, etc and could not get it back on.
    Day 2: same as above
    Day 3 (today): worked fine after reset, started the ride. First 20 minutes ok. 2 minute interval ok. Began second 20 minute interval and it felt like the watts on the screen were WAY BELOW the work I was doing (felt like 220 - read 150) and 5 minutes into the second 20 minute interval it simply stopped reading anything but BPM. (afterwards stopped and saved, zeroed and rode a bit to check but no reading).
    Again, tks for your attention (hoping to find a solution through the hans since there is no CycleOps here in Brazil)!!!

    Juan, I have a wired PT, so not much help, but I would definitely suggest sending an email to Saris in the US. That doesn't sound like proper behavior.

    Juan , I have a wireless powertap/joule (same config as you). Haven't had that exact issue. But when the battery in the unit is low the unit does get flaky in connecting . Try changing them.

    Agreed, try charging the unit. If that doesn't work, contact Saris. Definately not normal behavior.
