  • Hi All,

Marne Sall here...completed three consecutive IMC events and will be working on speed work and HIMs in 2012.  Next event is Rock and Roll Arizona - Half Marathon.  I completed my bike and run tests and it feels good to have a starting point on the numbers for the OS.  They can only go up!

Happy Holidays to all and we'll see you on the forums!

  • Hey Steve & Marne - I'm starting my 2nd EN OS after joining at the end of 2010 enroute to my first 1/2's in 2011 and my first IM at IMFL. For 2012 i'm doing 2 half's and IMAZ. #1 goal for 2012 is to really improve my run volume and endurance. After three solid weeks of doing nothing after IMFL it is great to be back on the training horse!

  • @Marne IMC awesome x 3 working the shortiy's way to go to get stronger. Reach your goals this year , stay focused keep us up to date image Don't be a stranger !
@ Dusty 2nd OS same as me. IMAZ 2012 HERE You GO. Awesme and throw in a couple of halves Nice to have you on the Dec team. Don"t be a stranger! We'll help get you get to Florida for sure.
  • So three down 43 to go who's up don"t be shy. Let's see the common events we have for 2012 and be able to support each other to meet our goals. Maybe the start of a splinter cell within our cell albeit with a common goal. image)
  • Hi all,

I'm Cassie from Taberg, NY (near Syracuse).   I'm training for my first IM, so I'll be soaking up all your training tips on my way to Lake Placid.

  • Great rally Steve...thanks for getting things going! Come on OS December peeps, chime in and let's hear how you're doing. We're working towards individual goals with the benefit of an awesome team!
  • Keep it coming boy's and girl's,more quotes to be read and heard!

  • Blake from Macon, GA. 2012 is mostly local sprints up until the Augusta 1/2 next fall. I hope to finish up the year with the Rev 3 Half in Sarasota. Goals for 2012 is to learn to swim straight and to take my revenge on Augusta for what it did to me on the run. I plan on joining the Ironman ranks in 2013.
  • Hey Steve and Dec OS peeps. Did Nov OS last year as start to the LP race. This year tried to fire up on Nov, but life and head wasn't letting that happen. After a few failed attempts, I decided to join the Dec group. At least there is only one major Holiday to navigate in the plan. Last year, A race was LP. This year, going shorter, with a couple 1/2's and some International distances. IM just takes too much time from life at this point. Had a good solid week this week. Last year was my third OS and my biggest 2 mistakes were over-reaching on running intervals and neglecting the stretching/core work. Lead to a hamstring and groin pull that has yet to completely go away. Started back up with yoga/pilates this fall and doing much better. Looking forward to progressing with all you this OS!
  • Hey all. Just found the discussions. Second week OS in the bag. Starts to ramp up this week . On my way to Boston , Mooseman OLY/HIM , IMMT HIM, IMMT..... lotsa running races pre-boston and probably a bunch of stuff after IMMT!
  • I'm new too....finishing my first week of the OS. :-)
  •  Hey guys.  Started the O/S at the end of Nov.  Only goal race on the schedule is Calgay 70.3 but i'm sure a few more races will find their way onto the calendar in short order.  I'm just in it for fun (yeah right!!!) this year after doing IMC the last 2 years.  Gotta try and keep it low key and earn some SAU's before I spring another IM on the wife in 2013!!!  I may even hack a marathon into the year - it's just an idea right now because I know it'll blow a huge hole in my schedule.  I also have Vegas on my radar since I missed the roll down by one slot this year.
