Adamo Saddle - Prologue, Time Trial, or other

I currently use a Cobb V-Flow Max and in general like it.  Last yr I tried an Adamo "Racing II" for about 1 or 2 rides but never really gave it a fair test as it seemed extremely wide in the front and I was reasonably happy with my Cobb.  Some of the newer Adamo saddles appear to be a little more narrow in the front but still give te same benefit with the cutout.  So I was thinking of trying one out on my Cervelo P3.  I imagine I'll stick with the Cobb on my road bike.  I also already know the "seats are personal" comment.  I have made that comment myself on other posts and have largely lobbied people to try the Cobb in the past.   So with that lead in:

Has anyone used the Adamo "Time Trial" or the "Prologue"?  I was leaning towards the prologue, but with a name like "Time Trial" maybe that one should be it.  Thoughts, comments.

  • I just bought a Cobb. Am going to go ride an Adamo this week. I'll keep you posted
  • I tried the Cobb V-Flow Max and thought it was too wide as well. I then switched to the Cobb Plus and LOVE it! I thought I read somewhere that it's supposed to be more tri-specific.

I was able to get the 6-month trial period through my LBS, so I didn't even have to deal with buying and returning online. Before doing so, I made sure my LBS wouldn't be out anything for going through them and doing the trial.
  • My adamo on my TT bike definitely took some adaptation time. When I next get a new one, I'll zip tie the tips closer together to make that adaptation easier.
