How To Hard Reset Joule?
Having some issuee the past couple of days with my Joule and have an FT test this morning. Only change I have made to the CPU in the past several months is add the heart rate monitor. Did do one ride with HRM after pairing it without issue. Issues started on the next ride.
1 - Saturday: Joule started rebooting/restarting by itself on a ride.
2 - Updated the firmware and it no longer reboots, but now the INTERVAL button doesn't work and the JOYSTICK doesn't work to move around screen (but does work when pushing it down to change display settings).
Figured I would try a hard reset to factory spec and see if that fixes the issue. But can't find anywhere that tells me how to do that?
Any help is appreciated.

Good luck, keep me informed what you find out I'll do the same.
Steve - Mine happened BEFORE the update. The update actually helped a bit.
I will be calling Saris first thing tomorrow.
Hi Guys:
My issue is there is moisture that got into the unit. I guess Stark sweat biodegrades a Joule. I am sending back to Saris and they are going to replace no charge.
Dan, per the Saris guy, to reset the Joule . . . . .
In Mac: Plug in Joule, go to Finder, look for the CYCLEOPS on the left sidebar (probably under Devices). Click that CYCLEOPS device. You will see a folder called Cycleops. Simply drag that to the Trash bin and then empty the Trash. That should do it.
In Windows: Find the Cycleops drive under My Computer. Right click on it and choose to reformat. Then do just that.
