Sufferfest & Computrainer

I ran across this little gem on another triathlon forum.  Since R&P have been generous in uploading the Sufferfest video series to the haus, I thought that some CompuTrainer users may be able to use these tips:

To take the workout to the next level (or just to prevent you from slacking off), if you have a Computrainer, you can add a matching .erg file from ErgDB (http://73summits.com/ergdb/index.php) -- just search for workouts with an author of "Sufferfest" to find all of the matching workout .erg files.

You simply kick off playback of the video in your favourite video player and playback of the .erg file in the Computrainer Coaching Software and away you go. If you want something a little more automated, take a look at Golden Cheetah (http://www.goldencheetah.org/). If you grab the latest v3.0 Development build, you can use it to control your Computrainer via the .erg file and playback the video all in sync. Best part is, it's multi-platform so you can now use your Mac or linux box to control your Computrainer instead of having to have a Windows machine.

I no longer have a Computrainer, so I can't vouch for how these work.
