Down hard yesterday with intestinal bug I got from the kids....tried out the Bike session this morning but had to defer after 30 minutes with 15' at Z4..........am better today that yesterday but still weak.....hoping to be closer on track by Mon/Tues....
@Paul - you're an animal! 46+ mph?? I think I have seen 40 but had to clean my pants out after the descent! Fantastic work Paul!
Working through the slow recovery and beginning to come back online but still feel fatigued from this virus……
Picked myself up and got back on the horse (I fell off of yesterday) for round 2 this afternoon to see if I could do a bit more……body is slowly coming back online. Was able to finish out the Z4 time (total of 41 minutes) but it was a deeply fatiguing effort. Also made it through 5 of the 8 minutes of V02 so I will call it a win today with 113 TSS.
@Paul - We just got back from Orlando. Loved the weather! It was 13 when we got back to Iowa
I was wondering how bike workouts would go after taking a week off of cycling, but I was able to hit all zones plus a little. Did Saturday's workout on Friday and Thursday's workout today.
Friday... 2x20' - .98/.989 4x2' - 1.22/1.23/1.23/1.24 2x15' (had a little energy left to spend...and a few calories to burn) - .843/.87 Total Workout IF of 0.914
Sunday... 6x2.5 - 1.25/1.23/1.23/1.24/1.24/1.24 5' - .91 Total Workout IF of .954
@shaughn, paul, daniela - wow that is some impressive work by each of you!
Tues bike done, 15' of on. Did the first 5 in 60" intervals and them realized I had more, so did the last 10' as 5 x 2'. Hit 120-121%. Followed by 10' at .847. Finally felt a good turnaround in a body today, like I'm getting some strength back as opposed to just scraping by.

good work all
so Saturday's wko proved difficult.
ended up breaking up the 2x20 into
1x15, 2x10, and 2x5 all >.97IF
then had to do the "8 mins ON" as 1:1 to get it done.
did the run as a brick, but don't think I hydrated well enough as had a VERY hard time maintaining Z3 pace.
