Restwise - For those who have tried it...

Did a search and found a few threads on this.  Hard to tell if those EN athletes who tried it would recommend it.  

What's the verdict?

  • So I ordered a pulse/ox finger thingy the other day from Amazon.com.  Have always wanted one.  Been tracking my wake-up HR each morning.  Had some okay (not stellar) workouts for several days on wake-up HR of 48, 45, 50.  Today, 40, felt very awake when I got up, and went downstairs and slayed an FTP session - a real goodie.  And then ripped off a fast 17' run.

    Seems I can get the key feedback from the HR and then be aware of all the other factors they monitor. 

     

  • I am sure you can hack it, although not sure how you'd compile / review it unless you got XLS funky. Like you said, I know instantly at wake up what my session will be like as I have feedback on pulse/ox, etc. Plus the whole exercise has me focused on how I am processing the work, not just what I am doing for work....and the processing is where the advantage / gains come from...
