How often should you do a manual zero on Joule?

And if I recall from the first Manual zero I performed, the values were all different and performing the manual zero didn't change anything.  (I thought I remember reading something that said that was OK/normal)

     I called Saris to discuss as I could not get the Joule to zero. They told me that there was a glitch in the firmware update that had the one number off by a factor of 8.8. After dividing that number in the mid-6000's by 8.8 it was the same as the torque (or other way around).  The point being they told me the next firmware update should be put out in the next 2-3 weeks and that the glitch would be fixed.
