Wahoo Fitness ANT+ Speed and Cadence Sensor

I've been using the Wahoo Fitness ANT+ Speed and Cadence Sensor on my indoor trainer for about a month now. I did a FTP test with it and arrived at a FTP of 278 with a LTHR of 158. I was just wondering if any of you has experience with this sensor as well and could tell me something about the accuracy. I do use the same resistance and tire pressure for all my ride, so should be able to track my progress over time. But was curious to see if the FTP results from this sensor are accurate with "real" powermeters?

Thanks a lot for your help!

  • @Niels, I too am new to power, started last week using the Kurt power meter/trainer combo and also interested in how acurate my set up is. I seen a product review that said the Kurt setup likely 2-3% off PT setup but did say his testing found the Kurt setup to be consistent and that is half of it.
  • @Tim. I was just looking at the Kurt power meters. Reviews were decent. Seemed the only draw back was that it could only be used on the rtrainer. Also said pretty on with power meters if measure out true circumference of wheel. Have you been pleased with it so far?
