Week 9 of 20
So how is the training going, most of us are probably now on the training plan with about 12 weeks to go to IM StG.
My week has been pretty good here, working to get everything re-arranged to the new schedule vs the patched up one I had pulled together for the off-season. I wasn't as consistent as I would have like this off season, but better then last year so that is a plus.
The easy run and interval wents well for me this week, the FTP session was a little off its numbers but not too bad. The long run was tough but I made it through. Still working on getting everything back to where it should be swimming wise. Been swimming a couple times a week for the last few weeks, now need to really focus in on it and start building up the distance, etc.

Im tired.
Doing all biking on the Trainer so tough emotionally.
I am doing less biking than plan and last year IMLOU, BUT, doing the same amount of time doing MORE running than plans.
Legs are feeling it.
All three workouts this week did less watts than goals. I guess the biggest bike volume and run volume week of the year will do that to you!
Bike miles: Wednesday-28, Sat 74, Sunday 60.
Running was 6 days this week and the legs told me how tired they were.
Swim: Monday 4500 yards and Tuesday 5600 yards.
Looking forward to week 10. Massage on Monday, ahhhh
Swim: 8300 meters
Bike: 7:45 hr (all on trainer)
Run: 4:31
Total: 15:01 hrs........by far the biggest week of the year
Swim: 5.7k
Bike: 8:30
Run: 5:30
Decided to do a big bike week starting this weekend into this week (will be out of town next week so minimal access to a bike). So two decent bikes out in the cold this weekend (biking when it is in the mid 30s to low 40s is cold). Not looking forward to the 4-5 hrs on the trainer tonight to continue it, but need to get it in.
