~ Things actually felt good today despite the long week and weekend.
~ Run feeling good.....3x1 mile repeats coming in around 6:45 pace today. (8 miles in 60 minutes)
~ 3000 yard swim came in around 1:30/100
Massage therapist cancled today for she has the flu. Piriformis and ITB's a little sore from the past weeks bike and runs.
Packed week for me so moving workouts around a little. Unfortuntely I have to do m long run on Thursday and then back that up with the 4 hour bike and brick run on Friday. Will then rest Saturday cause I am at the FD and do Sundays bike and run as scheduled.
Have a great week.
Bad start....did my Trainer bike 1:15 today........been just doing a FTP as long as I could go last 3 weeks. Did 250w 2 wks ago.....240w last wk.....and.....229w this week for 30 minutes each time......Legs are definitely tired and not necessarily recovering.
I hope they will come along soon!

I am having a good time with the training. I am dropping 1 swim per week and 1 run. Life is busy. Since I am relegated to indoor biking on the trainer, I did 3 hours on Saturday and 1.5 hours Sunday, but it was all work.
This coming weekend will also be compromised for me with family stuff forcing need to shuffle around bike workouts. Not too worried. Been here before. Sometimes you only get to complete the "work" portions of the workout.
This going to be great... or talk to me in 4 weeks
Put in about 3.5 hrs on the trainer last night which was painful and a easy 6.5 m run at lunch. Legs are definently starting to feel the last three days of bike pounding, sitting a bit over 200 miles in the last three days. Today will be an easy ride and I will see if they want to do a easyish run at lunch time, so I can go long tomorrow on the bike. Once that is done, I will have to make a decision on if I want big bike week to be 5 or 7 days.
@Michael - I hear you on the wattage, been there before. Last time I started that trend I ended up needing to take 2-3 days off to give the body time to recover a bit. It is tough right now though with everything also picking up in duration.
@Carl - Keep up the good work, I know I did a few of those moving the long run to the day before the Sat run last year and a rest day on Saturday is a good idea. Whenever I pushed to do the three in a row, I was hurting the whole Sunday workout and dead to the world the next day.
Tomorrow I'm running our 2 hour run then I have to back that up Friday morning with a 4 hour bike and run.
Also Friday getting my Retül bike fit and can't wait. Going the 4th bike fit is the one. I really need to be dialed in.
