Updated to Ant+- LYC not picking up signal

I just updated my wireless hub from a 2.4 SL to the 2.4 SL + using the little software adaptor that you can buy from wheelbuilder.  However, my LYC will not pick up the signal from the hub.  I know the hub is active as I was able to pick it up using the TrainerRoad and also my Garmin 310 xt.  I know I can just use those two, but I don't like having to look at the Garmin on my wrist and the TrainerRoad will only work in the pain cave.  Any suggestions?  I've tried to have it relearn the hub, but that hasn't worked either.  I'm stumped.

Thanks for the help.

  • you may have to update the software on the LYC. Do you have the latest build?
  • Thanks Tom, I'll try that tomorrow. I'm not sure I ever did that since I wasn't ANT+

  • You'll need an ANT+ LYC, you may want to consider a Garmin or a Joule.
  • Thanks Tom, your suggestion worked and it seems I've never ever updated the software on my LYC. In some ways I'm glad it worked, in other ways I was hoping to start to consider the Garmin 500 or a Joule....now hopefully I'll still get signal loss to the LYC when I put it on the tri bike so I can upgrade image
