Cassette Compatibility - SRAM/Shimano
Smart Gear Guys-
Currently running an ultegra 12/25 cassette with normal FSA cranks, durace rear derailleur, durace chain. I am thinking about getting a 12/27 for IM MOO. I've been struggling to find ultegra version, durace is much more expensive. SRAM makes one, would there be a problem with crossing the rear cassessete, chain derailleur etc? If I get the extra cassette would probably get one and then move around on wheels for training, racing etc.
Thanks

Otherwise seem to be backordered just about everywhere...
Interchangeable fine. I like the sram shifting better. I have shimano shifters and sram cassettes.
thanks everyone, for the input, I went with the SRAM as it was carried by performance and enough reviews and your experiences spoke to the interchangability.
