What is the EN Swim Threshold Standby?
What's the key workout that is same/similar to Run/Bike Threshold (FTP) work?
Is it the longer stuff 300, 500, etc @ ;3-5 seconds slower than Race Pace?
Or is it the 100s @ 3-5 seconds faster than Race Pace?

Closer, longer race: 300's to 500's (more of a 'take your fast and go farther' kind of workout)
More time, shorter race: 100's (more of a 'get-faster' kind of workout)
50's and 100's, very hard.
Don't compare the swim to the bike and run. Think of it as running track work, but at a much higher intensity because swimming is non-impact. That is, your swim workout is the equivalent of a healthy season of 200's, 400's and 800's at the tracks, with laps around the track at a decent pace to add volume to the session.
