Deleting a range in WKO+

I'm trying to delete a range of a workout in WKO+.  I had left my Garmin on while driving home from an MTB ride, and it recorded the route home (dumb mistake).  I want to cut out the "drive home data".  I can highlight the range and select "delete range" but nothing hapens.  Any clues?

Delete range leaves the data, but deletes the "interval" created by the range. If you want to delete the data, simply highlight the portion of data you want to delete and select CTL-X.
