Updating new FTP and weights in WKO+ ?

I forget, can someone remind me how to update my FTP and weight without disturbing my previous historical ride data? I know there is a trick, I think if I just type in the newnFTP it retroactively changes my previous workouts.

Thanks,

Gene

  • Gene, need to click "add new zones" to update the FTP.

For weights, just type in the weight on the day it was recorded. WKO does the rest.
  • This tripped me up as well when I started using WKO+. Below is from the online user guide. Note that you're supposed to click "New Zones" first, then change the date. You can also go back and fix all the previous workouts. Start at the beginning of your calendar, and progressively change the FTP or pace or weight or whatever moving forward chronologically, using this method. (The "Options referred to, of course, is in the Power Trasining Zone section of "Athlete Home")

***Note: You can assign zones to a specific time period.  In order to do this, you must first click OPTIONS>NEW ZONES for each new date range.  Then you must type in the date field the new date that you want the data associated with.  Change the value in the Threshold power window and then hit the key.  Also click OPTIONS> CALCULATE ZONES to get the numbers in the window to recalculate with the new zone value.

If you just change the date in the window and do NOT click Options> NEW ZONES, then you will overwrite the previous data with the new zone value.  So, it's VERY IMPORTANT that you always click OPTIONS> NEW ZONES when you are creating a new zone.

  •  Thanks for the help guys!
