vDOT advancement
I was never the fast runer. I started off the year at a vDOT of 41; and could never keep that up in the longer distances. Always crumbling.... also, weight in the beginning of the season was 188-190 lbs.
working in Jan OS; now my vDOT is 45.3 (and I PRed twice at half-marathon distance). Today at 1:39:40.
I'm still hitting all training run zones comfortably; (Let's see on Tuesday...), but I did struggle near the end of the half-mary.
My initial goal for the year was to do a 1:35 half-marathon; but I'm approaching MUCH faster than I expected..... should I back off?
