Moving around Thursday long runs
Does anyone adapt their schedules to move Thursday morning long runs to a different day/time? I swim with a masters swimming group Tuesday and Thursday mornings before work at 5am, and really do not want to change this because it is the only time I actually enjoy swimming. Yet, I know changing these long runs effects all the other workouts-anybody do this and if so, what does your typical weekly schedule look like? I've thought about changing the runs to Friday mornings but I'm nervous about the effect that would have on the Saturday ride.
Thanks all I'm trying to play around with the schedule and would love feedback.

@Lauren, in my 2010 season, I probably did 7-8 thur long runs on friday. I did them 1st thing in the am, stood in the ocean after to flush, and then did not ride sat until 1pm or so. I did not feel any impact. FYI: I am male, not thin and was 51 in 2010, just to put things in context for recovery purposes.

There are some keys in the additional notes but the main point is the following:
Priority workouts each week are, in order: long run, long bike, interval bike.
If it were me I'd move the run to Wednesday and adjust the early week stuff around that. Doing the Long run stacked with the two heavy day of biking it doable but not optimal for recovery standpoint as you have two priority workouts in two days. Perhaps a Friday morning Saturday afternoon would help.
