ant stick not finding my 310 - whuzza?

New to the ANT / 310 world, so excuse the old question.   I've installed the ANY driver, but it's not pairing / recognizing my 310.  I have reinstalled a few times, and I just get the perpetual "searching" display.  What am i missing here?  I feel like it's straightforward, but it's compltely escaping me.

hey theres a couple of things to check?

Make sure you have the latest and greatest firmware on your 310 from garmin.com, and that you have the latest ant agent from there as well.

You might need to un-install and re-install that software as I have had numerous problems with it.

Also, If none of that works give Garmin a call, I had an issue with my ant stick, and they ended up sending a new one which fixed it right up.

 I had a "bad" ANT stick the first one I purchased...Garmin had to send a new which paired immediatley.

Looks like I'm good; pairing complete, and now I just have to learn me up on downloading direct to WKO.

Win 7 has a Garmin driver already resident so you shouldn't download a driver from Garmin.
When I did that recently with a new computer I couldn't pair my 310 with the stick.
I uninstalled the Garmin driver I had downloaded, and everything has been fine since then.
