Can I cram some swim fitness in the next four weeks?
Long story short...
I jacked up my shoulder 3-4 weeks ago so I couldn't swim. That feels better now.
I somehow managed to hurt my neck this week so I haven't been able to swim. Basically, I haven't swam in a month and I have Syracuse in 4+ weeks.
Assuming my neck feels better in the next couple of days, what kind of swim training should I do to maximize the limited time I have left to train. I had aspirations of LVQ'ing there but that's seemingly slipping away.
I have been training pretty consistently all year since I had Texas 70.3 and NOLA 70.3. Stay the course and hope for the best or try some enhanced swim training?

Don't reinjure yur shoulder by over working swim training now. You can continue to build a swim progression ... Increasingly harder, longer workouts ... Until the final week of the race. There's no need for a swim taper. I just completed Wildflower having started swimming again just 4-5 weeks before the race. I was 2 min slower than what i might have been with another 6 weeks, but I had no trouble with the HIM distance or feeling strong in the water. This was after about 10-11 swim sessions in the five weeks before the race, building up both speed and distance during that time.
