I have seen the product and talked with the reps. It is used by quite a few professional teams (NFL and NBA). It has some research to back it up. It is waxy maize that is supposed to be a slow release carb and also increase the use of fat by your body. I say try it and see how you like it. I tried the recovery one and had some texture issues with it. You need to be sure you keep mixing it and mix it well the first time.
i don't think energy levels were anything remarkably different than other things I've been working with(mostly excel gel). I want a bit more of a punch of energy sustained. I am going to try to up the cal/hr as a next step.
I also see the UCAN stuff as harder to use. I've tried mixing on the run and it just don't work.
Yes the mixing container is hard to clean, and the taste lingers.

tried the chocolate flavor, and it had a funky aftertaste. Kept thinking, that I just basically drank corn starch. yum.
I like the idea behind it. Next on the list to try are the Infinit products... I'm particularly interested in the Napalm.
I found it was hard to get out of the bottle - particularly the cap. Ended up having to soak it.
it's been 2 or three weeks since I've tried it.
