Powertap distance under reporting distance

Anyone know the cause of under reporting mileage?  I have had the PT for 18 months and have never noticed the significant errors as I have seen this spring on a known course.

About a month or so ago just as I transitioned to riding outside I had to replace the hub batteries following a low batt warning.  My mileages have all been off since.  I checked and reset the wheel circumference and changed the batt in my GC10 sensor too.  Niether helped.

My last couple of 61 mile rides have recorded 39.9, 45.02, and 39.09 all for the same 61 mile route.  It is a 30.5 out and back that I have measured with a car and agrees with my 310xt.

    Steve you have checked the things I would check (new batteries for PT and head unit, plus check circumfrence), so perhaps you need to ask Saris?

    Wheel circumpherence was the culprit when this happened to me

    @ Peter & Ian - thanks. I was hoping I was missing something simple. Seemed like I did all the right things and still not correct. Guess your right and I need to call Saris.
