Low GI and Low Fiber Foods?

 My second season of triathlons and last year had major GI issues in all HIM.  Looking to go low fiber leading up to race and then prerace day eating low GI/Low Fiber foods.  Any suggestions on foods that are both low GI and fiber??  So far I found apples, pear apricots (no peeling), plain yogurt, chicken breasts.  What are you all eating?

  • Good thought. I am a fan of fiber tapering for races and just add the carbohydrates back in. Turkey sandwiches. Eggs. Scones. -- and don't worry terribly about the GI score. G
