Looks like we can pull this off! I have six EN'ers living in Texas that are interested in getting together! So far, it is: me, Bart Stevens, Mark Thompson, David Corso, Alan May, and Rob Grammer. image

Let's look at a weekend in July. Nothing elaborate - just meet and spend some time together for whatever time you can spend. Post which weekend day and timeframe and I'll work it. For location, I am looking at somewhere along I-35. The Gristmill in Gruene is a good "mark on the wall"  http://www.gristmillrestaurant.com/

    Okay - based on PMs so far, I'm looking at 15 July at 1300hrs (that's 1PM) at the "Gristmill" in Gruene, Tx. That is 36 miles from San Antonio, 46 miles from Austin and unfortunately 89 miles from Kerrville. http://www.gristmillrestaurant.com/

    Respond here with anything you have to discuss to help make this happen! Bring guests - this is a fine place to visit as well! Also, a great early season sprint triathlon is held here in April!

    NOT that weekend pleeeeease. If so I cannot make it. I have a family reunion. But do not try and please just me. I'll be in the Austin area in August and we can do social 2.0.

    Okay - it is now 6 July and I just sent out a reminder. We are set for 15 July at 1300 (1PM). From the PMs I got back, looks like we are up to 7 that have said yes.

    Social went off great! We had Mark Thompson and family - wife Liesal and daughter Lilly, and Bart Stevens with my wife Robin and me. We discussed EN in general, our seasons this year and Mark's upcoming IMLO and Bart's IMCDA.

    Great chance to exchange info and get to know others in the area. Looking forward to the next opportunity to get together - possibly in the fall to discuss OS and next year's race plans!
