How do you get the races you want???
Kind of a lame new guy question, but as I think about 2013 I want to ensure I am not missing races like I did this year (vineman, California 70.3) because I got in the game to late.
Is there a one stop resource with information on when these races open for registration? I do a sprint in Malibu every year that sell out in 90minutes every year, but I am on the mailing list and can plan to be in front of my computer for the kickoff. How do you access the information for Ironman?
Thanks!

Dino - a couple of thoughts...
Ironman has an email service you can sign up for which periodically sends out news (daily, if you like) about everything under the IM sun, including info on registration processes.
ironman.com (under the events tab near the top left) has a list of all IMs and 70.3s, with links to each. Each site has a Registration tab, where the rules for that race are spelled out. The general rule for North American IMs, is routinely that online registration opens at 11 or noon local (race locale) on the morning after the race. Try feed://ironman.com/rss
Make sure Wildflower is your list. It will be an official EN race
@Al - thanks for the tips!
@Scott, maybe Dino, Trevor, and Trent could describe their races and race weekend experiences? I know they did race reports, in the RR forum.
Wildflower is in the list of races that I'm doing. I'm definitely going big on this one (45yo, new AG, perfect launch pad for CDA, etc) and will do everything I can to make it an EN spring racing destination on the west coast.
I'm in for Oceanside 70.3, whooo!!! This will be my first WTC race. Thanks for the heads-up on registration Dino, though I'm going to assign partial blame on you for giving me an impulse to make my wallet $300 lighter.
@ Anson - haha. Same here brother!
