Why so much running Weeks 18-19 Ironman plan?
7 Days of running from tomorrow until next Tuesday for a total of 5+ hours of suggested running. Seems like a lot. I know we are not supposed to follow the plan into a brick wall but the mere suggestion to a Type A person to run that much before the big dance *seems* dangerous.

I personally am resting more this year and feeling better too! Can't do too little next 19 days...and I'm going to test the theory!
@P - When you say you rest more every year are you talking about resting more during the Taper?
