Rehearsal and taper for HIM
Coach(es) - hope you're having a great one! Couple questions - I'm on week 9 for a plan that ends 8/26. In 2 1/2 weeks I plan to compete in the Buffalo Springs 70.3 on 6/24. First question - should I do a race rehearsal this Saturday attempting to simulate race day as much as possible? 2nd question, what should week 11 (week before the HIM) look like as I taper down to the race? Should my taper be longer than the final week? I've read the wiki on inserting an HIM in the plan (mostly about the week after) and I've read tapering with intent (taper for IM). Is there another resource I should be using. Thanks for your help ....

I race a 70.3 next weekend myself, first of the year- good luck to you!!! Not sure about the RR, but you might get a quicker response if you post in the 'what do I do this week' forum.
