Swim hack help

 Need some advice for my swim workouts. Lately my swim workouts have not been able to keep pace with the gains I'm making running and cycling. I'm blowing those two disciplines away. My swimming is better than it was last year for IMFL, but I find I'm consistently cutting my EN swim sessions short because the speed work is cooking me and I can't hold form. Again, my swimming IS improving, but I'm not sure how much to keep pushing speed even if I'm leaving work on the table, or am I better of working on form even if I'm not improving speed.
