What do you drink during the day?

 Ok.  I've dropped my caffeine intake down to one a day in the morning (to help with sleep issues), that's either a can of coke of some sort, a cup of coffee or a glass of tea.  Otherwise I'm drinking water for most of the day (I've always drank water at work) but I get to the afternoons and want to drink something with some taste, anything.  Just so long as it's not carbonated and not caffeinated.  So what do you drink?  Crystal Light?  decaf tea?  other?

  • I drink Emergen-C for almost every meal now. I sip on water most of the day but need something with flavor for meals. I used to have Orange Juice in the mornings and Cranberry juice for lunch, but went with the Emergen-C instead to get some of the vitamins with a lot less calories. http://www.emergenc.com/index.php/products/original
  • Regular ol water, and lots of it, during the work day at the office.

    When I get home, I use 1/4-1/3 of a packet of propel powder for each 32oz of water (giving ever slight taste).

    But I do like me some Sprite Zero and/or Diet coke with dinner.
  • Diet Coke at linch and dinner, just to sip. Water all day and then Perform Low Cal for fun after workouts. Long work outs sometimes earn a cold coconut water.

    All that said, tap water is probably 95% of my fluid intake....
  • Nuun- lots of flavors. it is just about the only thing I drink.

    In a restaurant, i actually drink plain water. But at work or home, it has Nuun.
  • Lemon-lime sparking water is pretty good.
  • Non fat milk for dinner and in my oatmeal in the mornings, a glass of red wine with my dinner salad every night, orange juice for breakfast, 2 - 4 cups of green tea throughout the day and plenty of water.
  • Water with Mio flavoring, Propel Zero, Crystal Light, sugar free Arizona Green Tea sticks.... I have boxes of stuff at my desk that I rotate through depending on my taste. Coffee no later than 1300. Water only at restaurants.
  • Water, water with Mio. There is also True Lemon and True Lime that are crystallized lemon/lime.
  • 1 cup of coffee in the morning, then water with half a lemon or orange juiced, nuun tabs, green tea, herbal tea, plain water. Coconut water post long workout.

    Beer on weekends, in moderation
  • Water for most part. Before WO Perform. After intense workout protein shake. After long workouts IM recovery.
    Weekends partake in some beer and wine.
  • Diet coke for breakfast, mid morning break, lunch, mid afternoon break, start of evening, rehydrate, then switch to caffeine free diet coke for rest of evening. Yeah, I'm a nutritional disaster. But I also drink vitamin water, gatorade, crystal light lemonade, juice, and lots of other toxins just to round it out. I HATE PLAIN WATER, and I don't drink coffee or tea either. Don't care for beer and I drink wine very very infrequently. But Diet Coke is the nectar of the gods! I hope Penny doesn't read this.

    throughout the day I try and get down 1 gal of water. Seems to be getting harder for me. So I have been flavoring it with lemons, cherry juice, etc
    I do have about 4 diet soda's also throughout the day
    try and get in 2-3 wheat beers at night.
  • Big fan of the packets of Arizona Arnold Palmer Half & Half (Iced Tea/Lemonade) when I want to add taste to water. 10 calories per packet, sweetened with sucralose (which I usually find too sweet but like a lot in this).

    If I drank all that I'd be up 6x a night to pee.  My doctor told me to drink less, keep it to 80-100 oz of fluid a day on a normal day.  I tend to drink too much

  • One cup of coffee in am, recovery shake after workout, water, water, and more water. Green tea, or herbal tea around 3 pm. Sparkling water in evening sometimes to mix it up. One or two nights a week I might have a beer.
  • I cup green tea in the AM, water wtih Nuun or Emergen-C during the day. Occasionally plain ice water. Water with lemon or lime at restaurants. Ok, ok, white wine when not in season lol. ;-) Coffee, regular or decaf but mostly decaf for a treat once in a while. No fake sugars and am allergic to Stevia so... yeah. water lol Drinking ice water with Citrus Nuun as we speak :-)
