Moving WKO+ to a new PC from old

I am moving WKO+ to a new PC. I had it previously installed on another PC.

1- the key that i was given two years ago isnt working, i assume that is because it experied, Assume i have to get a new one from Coach R.

2-what folders do i need to move from the old PC to the new PC and replace the information with, that will contain my user data & data files?

3- related question to data files for the power agent from cycleops

    Scott, my WKO data is in a folder in 'My Documents', with the title 'TrainingPeaks' — so I would move that TrainingPeaks folder to your new PC.
    I have two sub-folders within TrainingPeaks called WKO, and Device Agent.
    Your WKO files are obviously under the sub-folder WKO.
    The Device Agent sub-folder has my Joule downloads, but these are separate from the WKO files — when I save my Joule downloads within Device Agent, Device Agent loads the file into WKO and I am asked if I want to save the WKO version of the Joule file.
    I assume Power Agent works the same but I don't know where those Power Agent files are stored as I don't use it.
    But if WKO already displays your power files, they will be stored in your WKO sub-folder undeer the TrainingPeaks folder in the WKO file format.

    For the key, email them directly and they should give you a new one. IIRC, they also have a migration tool that should help.

     had this same issue about a year ago. You have to uninstall from one of the two PC's as you can only use the key to install on two PC's at a time. If you do not have the original PC, then you can contact them and they told me as long as it had been a year since last accessing from the first then you can have the original key re-set to install on a new PC.

    the thing was I never knew you formally had to uninstall for the PC to send a note back to the company so they had a continued record of how many time that version had been installed.

    When my hard drive died and all data was unrecoverable, I just emailed Training Peaks and they set me the key for WKO.

    If you are on V3. you need to deactivate it on the old computer (help or about menu). This will tell the TP servers to free up one of your 2 available installs. Then load the trial version on the new computer and activate with your TP.com account info. It will grab that available license from the server and you'll be back up and running.
