Rev3, Portland OR July, 2012 report
The whole venue is beautiful, just like Northern Oregon. Race organization was classy. Plenty of parking and spectator friendly. Blue Lake is protected and just big enough for 1.2km. However, the new bike course is admittedly the most difficult of all the Rev3 venues according to race publicity. You'll need climbing gears.Iits like the top of St George, only seven times in a row. Unless you are a climber, be advised! The temps get into the 90's. The ice bath at the finish was awsome. Portland also has an Oly Tri earlier in the year that is basically flat all the way around they say (but I haven't done it).
