I prefer titanium/zinc dioxide sunscreens and avoid avobenzone, oxybenzone, etc. SPF 30+. Right now have tubes of Livestrong and Neutrogena baby. Usually use for summer workouts over an hour.
) Do you wear sunscreen while training? YES, about 90% of the time.
2) If not, why? Lazy
3) If yes, what brand(s) do you prefer? Hawaiin Tropic is what's in my house usually.
4) Approximately how much sunscreen do you use in a season? I'm usually working on 2 bottles at a time.
5) What product attributes do you look for in a sunscreen? (ie water resistant, fragrance free or pleasant scent, no sting, etc). Fragrance Free, and I like it when it says "sport" on it.
6) What form(s) do you use? (Pump Spray, continuous spray (like aerosol), lotion). Pump is best, next is Aerosol.
7) What SPF do you use? 30 or higher...
8) What additional benefits/attributes would you like in a sunscreen that isn't currently available? can't think of anything
3) If yes, what brand(s) do you prefer? Scape, Ombrelle,
4) Approximately how much sunscreen do you use in a season? 4 bottles
5) What product attributes do you look for in a sunscreen? (ie water resistant, fragrance free or pleasant scent, no sting, etc) Fragrance free, sweat/water proof.
6) What form(s) do you use? (Pump Spray, continuous spray (like aerosol), lotion) Lotion
7) What SPF do you use? 30 or 60 if long workouts, 15 if I'm trying to get rid of tanlines :-)
8) What additional benefits/attributes would you like in a sunscreen that isn't currently available? Stays on for an Ironman race. Scape claims to do this but I've gotten burns in a 70.3.
9) Additional comments/feedback. I would LOVE a sunscreen that stayed put for the whole day, wasn't expensive just because it's marketed to athletes (cuz we don't all have $$ trees!) and blocked the UVA and UVB rays while not exposing me to nasty chemicals. These days it seems like the cheaper sunscreens are full of ingredients that are harmful to you, so you have to choose between sun exposure, forking over a wadful of cash or spreading cancer causing agents on your skin.
3) If yes, what brand(s) do you prefer? Coppertone Sport
4) Approximately how much sunscreen do you use in a season? 1-2 bottles
5) What product attributes do you look for in a sunscreen? (ie water resistant, fragrance free or pleasant scent, no sting, etc) sweatproof / water resistant
6) What form(s) do you use? (Pump Spray, continuous spray (like aerosol), lotion) Lotion but considering spray for ease of applying alone
7) What SPF do you use? 15 or 30
8) What additional benefits/attributes would you like in a sunscreen that isn't currently available? inexpensive without crazy cancer causing ingredients
