I just wanted to clarify my swim workout instructions. 4 x 300 (30") at goal race pace minus 3". 4 x 300 (30") at RR pace minus 2 ".
What is the difference btw goal pace and RR? Does minus 3 mean 3 seconds slower or faster for each 100?

Minus 3 means 3 sec faster. Goal race and RR paces should be the same, IMO. About 7-8% slower than 1000yd/m TT pace
