I personally use a custom formula that works well for me, but many have used the EN formula above.
They seem to have generated quite the demand! Their server is having a very tough time loading right now. hoping I get in under the wire!

So what have they accomplished?
1) they got a lot of people to go to their site over a short period of time. lots of impressions.
2) the've frustrated a lot of people trying to order stuff the sell. lots of error messages.
3) a few people that are willing to keep trying and waiting will get a nice discount.
Overall was this a good move for the infinit brand?
My take, no. They should have had some idea of the increased traffic, and made the appropriate plans for it. If you're going to offer an exploding discount, you've got to be able to forecast demand to some extent.
That said, I don't think it'll turn off a lot of customers. It'll probably just force them to extend the interval that they offer the discount, as I've heard that they tend to do right by their customers.
Mike
I did the same, but at around 12:02 when i hit submit, I got a your cart is empty message and had to start over.
Eitherway, I like the product so I will buy more from them even at normal price.
Of course this didn't work on the Canadian website. I put my order through anyway and requested the discount via the comments section.
Finally just got through. Got the 50%, too.
Mike
I sent them a few e-mails requesting the dicsount. I finally just got it to go through but without the discount code.
