Lake Geoge biking & swimming

Heading to Lake George in September-specifically to The Lodges at Cresthaven, 3210 Lake Shore Drive Lake George, New York for a wedding. Sept 28-30th. Lake swimming then? Groups? Good bike routes? Will be building to IMAZ (Nov. 18th). Thanks!

    Dottie - for biking, check out the biking you can start with the bike routes used for the Lake George Olympic and Half Ironman races next weekend. The routes are on their website. Not sure about swimming - it is a crowded lake with lots of boats, as you probably know, although that is well past the busy summer season. If you had someone paddling along with you it would probably be okay. Can be getting chilly by then, but should be fine in a wetsuit. It's a nice, clear lake.
