Sarasota FL Bike options? Help!

I'll be at a conference in Sarasota Sun through Friday next week. I'm staying in Central Sarasota near the Ringling Bridge. I hope to rent a bike and ride to do my Nov Os and PowerClinic workouts.

Do any Florida peeps have recommendations for West Florida bike rental, Computrainer facilities or good Sarasota area rides where I can push it fast without interruptions for at least 15 minutes straight?

Thanks, It would sure beat trying to do the workout on a recumbent fitness center bike at the hotel...

    Check the bike route posted at http://www.tntraces.com/GATORHALF.html. I did this race last year (not recommended) but the bike route was fairly low traffic. Totally flat of course! It's inland from Sarasota and gets you away from most of the vehicles. Heather Gollnick is from that area, you might check her blog page and see if she has a recommended bike shop or info.
