Best Swim Fins?

I am not one of those folks with CFWD (Chronic Fin Wearing Disorder).  Just looking for some new fins for parts of my swim workouts.  I have used Zoomers and these Finis fins look interesting.

Anyone have a preference or suggestion?  

Lemme know.

I used to use Zoomers but switched to Aquasphere. Recommended by Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen.

I would not spend a lot of dough on fins and have bought cheap old slip on black fins and cut them down to the size I wanted them. If you want a good leg work out with fins get the orignal fins the SEALS use, you will need booties too.

I just wear a pair of yellow zoomers and only for a couple of drills--arm forwards and switch drills. They were affordable and will last pretty much forever. Those aquasphere deals look pretty cool. It would be nice to have something that would allow the feet to be closer together; I like to touch my big toes when I kick. The zoomers force me to scissor a little more than I would like.

I have the zoomers, which I almost never use. They are fine, and they don't cause blister issues on my instep or heel.

What an F'ing difference!!!

Just got the yellow Zoomers. Worked great.

Paul, when did you get this reco from her? She gave me a brand/model number back in March and I don't remember which it was, She was specific about them not going around the wrist, only the fingers.

John, Cary ... I haven't met her in person, but I have her DVD and she wears them in it (the alpha fins) and there is a section on fins that recommended them. When my Zoomers split on the heel I made the switch to Aquasphere. They tend to float more than the Zoomers and are better for working ankle flexion which is a problem for those with a running background.

Yeah, I'm already on my second pair. Zoomers are like wooden clogs compared to the Alpha Fins. And if you are kicking fast and tight, the larger surface area puts a lot of force on the legs...you can really feel the work if you aren't playing around.
