New Garmin Edge and Forerunner Bike Mount

Garmin now has their own "in front of the bars" mount:

Very similar to the k-edge and barfly ones, but you can rotate this one therefore allowing the same mount to be used for a 310XT or 910XT in addition to the edge products.  (Yes, I know you can technically put a forerunner on the k-edge and barfly mount, but the screen will be sideways, with the garmin mount it will not be.

I hope to have one as soon as they are available and I'll share my thoughts then.

    Yeah, only one color, but $10 cheaper. The real test will be how it works as the k-edge one is very solid.

    I like how Garmin creates market differentiation by making their offering the only one that addresses the crippling deficiency that they themselves created.



    Whoever at Garmin is responsible for reversing the quick release direction between the Edge and Forerunner devices needs to be beat with a pillow case full of 305s.

    That's cool. I agree with Trevor. The Forerunner/ Edge compatibility issue is just retarded.

    Almost as bad as Pharma -- ohh - back on topic...

    I did order a K-Edge today as my 500 is en-route.  I guess it is time to sell the Joule 2.0

    Processing time is 5-8 weeks. Yikes. Sounds like it is on a steam ship from China.
