WKO+ 4 .... For Mac!

 Looks like big changes at Training Peaks!  New web service with HTML5 (no more flash, iPad users) and a new desktop program that will be slick and Mac friendly. Now the waiting begins....

I missed the no-flash bit. That's good... the flash components are kind of sucky as it is...even though they are "better" now.

I have always preferred the cloud based storage idea, but the actual analysis on the local machine has always been better than the web based one. We'll have to see what this looks like... but that blog entry implies we have quite a while to wait.

They might be hearing footsteps behind them. I was at Interbike on Thursday and there are a lot of killer apps and analytics out there. Power meters were everywhere. The trainers are getting nuts.....

I'm not a data analyzing geek and haven't used WKO in well over a year. Can't say I've missed it at all.  I just like to take a cursory review of my numbers and now that Garmin Connect shows power metrics that's all I need... and it's free.
