run BEFORE the bike?
Hi All,
I understand the value of a brick run, but I'm not too sure of the purpose of an easy run BEFORE the long Sunday bike?
Is it to get our legs tired before the bike? Or to get an additional run before the last bike ride of the week?

Yep, and if you're running before a long-ish ride, you'll need to plan ahead so that you eat a good breakfast between the run and ride, and then pay attention to nutrition during the ride. If you run with a Garmin, pay attention to your calories burned and then factor that in to your breakfast and ride nutrition.
