Is it just me
I don't know what it is about this guy but it seems I have watched him start copying EN over the past three years or so. Even his logo at one point looked the same if I remember correctly. robbwolf.com/2012/09/21/10-ways-iro...struction/. I don't mean Robb wolf. I'm talking about the author B. greenfield.
Maybe it's just me.

Ben Greenfield is from my neck of the woods and I know him and have always liked him. In person he is a pleasant, personable, very funny fellow. That said he is a marketing machine and everything he does seems to have that late night/early morning infomercial stink to it.
I find his website and deluge of emails (if one signs up for them) patently offensive. A couple of years ago when I was getting his stuff I questioned one of his emails. He apologized and admitted that he had not actually seen it. It was just one of many from third parties that he had sent via autopilot.
He sells everything from a weird litany of supplements to a little stand that one puts one's feet on to raise them when taking a dump to supposedly improve the process. As others have mentioned, everything, no matter how outlandish, is targeted to improve the income stream for Ben.
He is a successful triathlete and won the Leadman 125 this past weekend.
He manages to make what seems to be a decent living traveling and competing all over the world while avoiding the nine to five regiment.
LOL... too funny Al!
I respect the fact that he hustles. I like to see other business people thinking outside of the box and working to improve their game. That said, I pay about zero attention to what other coaches in the space do, including BG, because I'm too busy coaching you folks
If you haven't read "All Marketers are Liars" by Seth Godin, you should. Bottom line, successful marketing is telling people stories they already believe. Based on his success, there's a lot of people out there who want to believe the stuff he's selling. Good on him. But don't confuse him with an expert, or someone holding some special key. Not too dissimilar to Matt Fitzgerald, for that matter, just New Skool vs. Fitzgerald's Old Skool.
Okay, this irritates me to no end: http://superhumancoach.com/superhum...r-science/
Dr. Jenks, I feel like you ought to set this guy straight with your tri-scientist badassery.
I think Ben Greenfield's vanity license plate is "ILOVEBEN".
In all seriousness, he does put out some good stuff now and then, a while back he gave a nutrition seminar (there a video of it somewhere) that I got a a lot of good information from.
