No Mountain to post Pics in Challenge Threads
I don't seem to be able to post any pictures within the Challenge Forum. I've done a little trial and error and discovered that it seems to apply to any thread within the Challenge Forum. OTOH, I get the little mountain icon and can post pics in other threads outside of that forum.
Is this a user or profile settings thing? Or have I somehow exceeded my limit of posting pics of myself whooping Coach R's butt in pushups? (Insert smiley of the guy ducking to hide behind a wall here!)

Nemo,
I usually post my pix to the forum through flickr (but suspect any photo posting service, e.g. smugmug would work). I click on share this photo and cut and paste the HTML link into the text of my post.
I use the built-in photo tools as I describe here: http://endurancenation.us.dnnmax.co...aspx#13459
Yeah- that doesn't work for me though 'cause my pics usually exceed the file size.
That will give a link to the picture like this:
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_DthpnWXQAsQ/S2RE_r2BxFI/AAAAAAAACHM/8JLpIiPpcRY/s640/IMG_1234.JPG
but it doesn't actually put the picture itself into the post (which is what the mountain guy does) like this:
For Flickr, go to next option down "Grab the HTML" which will give you the embed HTML code like this. If you grabbed the link from Flickr then you chose "Grab the link" instead of "Grab the HTML"
[a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/41103987@N03/4279128919/" title="57860-1813-011f by KevinWalterMD, on Flickr"][img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4064/4279128919_a39a2c8ab4.jpg" width="332" height="500" alt="57860-1813-011f" /][/a]
except that each [ and ] will be replaced with < and >. If you paste that into your post then your picture will embed like this fine photo of me at the Disney Half Marathon. {I had to delete each < and l > of the embed code above or it would have automatically posted my picture twice into this email.
If you know the link and don't have a 'mountain' available, you can take that URL an surround it with an IMG tag as such:
Sorry you can't copy and paste that, basically you're putting {img src=" in front and "} in back of the image link switching the { and } with <</span> and > respectively.
trying without the mountain:

I fixed my post. Part of the flickr embed code sets the size of the image too.

Folks,
Trust us, we want to get stuff like this up and running as much as you do...but...
There are only so many work cycles available. When we get some higher priority tasks finished up we'll dial this in. Thanks for your patience.
What rich said, but...for now.
You need image location url. Then put
[img src="locationURLhere">[/img>
Where you replace the "[" with "<"</p>
Mountain Button is now available in Challenge Forum
