Hi Coach P, are you still planning to set up something for us to find a roomie? I am attending by myself, so would like to find a female roommate. Also, I was wondering if everyone is flying into Tucson or driving from Phoenix, might be cheaper to fly into PHX if we can rent a car with bunch of us together...
I haven't registered yet, but I would need a roomate as well. Flights right now are actually cheaper to tucson than phoenix for me, but an excellent thought.
Hi Mary, what have you decided on the house? If nothing, I am going to book a room with double beds, and hoping to have a female roommate. Please let us know!
I sent out several inquiries and am looking at a 3 BR condo that will sleep 5-6. I am waiting for a response back. I hope to hear in the next day or two.
I searched for and found 5 places within walking distance from Lowes, targeting a 3 BR with the following dates of March 20-24, however three did not have the dates available, one only had through the 23rd and the fifth never got back with me. All were from VBRO.
Daniela, did you want to try to find something or should we all get rooms at Lowes and share that way? What type of skillet do you use at hotels?
I looked at airbnb and only this one was close. Not much info on it, and it has a minimum of 7 day's stay for $925 + $100 cleaning fee. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/805991
Do is your spare bed still available? I was originally thinking I was going to be staying with some family friends in the area, but now I'm thinking it would be easier for both both them and I to just stay at the camp.
Trevor, sounds good. You can just pay me at the camp. I've already started my altitude training. 15' a day breathing into a paper bag taped to my head during my Z3 bike intervals. good times... :-)
@ Trevor - I hate to do this to you but I am going to have to bail on the camp. Work is kicking my tail and I will have been on the road 5 straight weeks going into this camp. Just can't do it. Hope you don't have to sleep in the desert...
Hey, just a heads-up to everyone. I am flying into Phoenix so I can borrow a friend's car, so I have wheels for the week/weekend. I know it's a hike to Tuscon but the plane ticket was WAY cheaper and the flight times are a lot more desirable out of Phoenix. Not to mention I won't need to rent a car now. If anyone needs a ride somewhere or help picking up anything, just give me a holler.

If it's not too far away from the resort and not too expensive, I would be interested.

Yup, all yours if you would like it.
Scott,
I too am looking for a roomie. You can PM me or we can chat after Tuesday's call.
Cheers,

Count me in Dusty. Can PayPal you or just cut you a check at the camp.
As a bonus we can discuss super-secret altitude training strategies for Tahoe.
