Setting: Harpoon Brewery Boston, MA. As in on the brewery floor.

 

Who: Me, The Halligan and 19 other folks (just in our wave). Estimated 240 folks racing today!

The Course: Rolling with a bit hill at the end!

The Result: 20:21 finish time, 340W Avg, totally done...but victorious!  image

Sweet victory only lasted one round as last year's 2nd place male went 19:52, taking me out by 30 seconds! Guess I gotta get fitter!!!!  image  Congrats to Dave for a great result. Time to drink the prizes!

    Congrats on the outstanding effort! I have no idea what kind of drink Harpoon is (I guess beer although it looks like it could be a hot chocolate mix), but that whole indoor TT set up was wicked cool. You won't find that down here...we ride outdoors year round.

    Beer, beer, beer. They are huge sponsors of the local tri and cycling scene....very generous. Congrats also to Leigh Boyle for taking her heat and earning a box o' spiked hot cocoa. Report please!

    What a really cool event! Congrats on winning your heat and enjoy the spoils! They gotta come up with another name for the leaders though. "Hot Stool" has my head going in a totally different direction!!!
